About the yarn:
Linen is the perfect yarn for your summer knits. It is soft and tough and best of all, it breaths so you can make luxurious, comfortable knits for warmer weather. This is a 2/40000 nm yarn which equates to 20 m/g or 9900 yds/lb. 600 grams is enough to make a medium sized pair of shorts and tank top, using 3 ends on a 4.5mm standard gauge machine.
Feed three ends into machine to knit on a standard gauge machine or 1-2 ends on fine gauge domestic machine.
Price is by the gram, so enter the quantity (# of grams) you want and we will provide a custom wound cone. In some rare cases, the total quantity may have to be provided on more than one cone.
Please send us a note (laura@)if you want the yarn split between cones in a particular way. We can also twist the ends together for you. For example, if you want two 50 g cones, you would enter 100 g, but let us know that you want the quantity split equally between two cones.
Finishing notes from the manufacturer:
Hand wash in water temperature no hotter than 30 degrees C (86 degrees F) with a gentle, neutral detergent. Remove excess water by rolling in towel and pressing water out. May also be dry-cleaned. Test care methods with your swatches.
