The 1/2 thick closed-cell foam padding is backed with a 2 wide HDPE load distribution panel, which provides a wide base to distribute weight across your shoulders to reduce fatigue. Additionally, Fastex buckles on the sternum strap and shoulder straps can be used for quick removal of the backpack. The sternum strap uses glide buckles so that the user can position the sternum strap according to their personal preference.
