A purple color rarely seen on any amethyst, which is associated with royalty, nobility and luxury.This geode brings rare agate layers on its surroundings, starting with a moss agate layer which is then covered by the very rare white agate band. This white layer creates a high contrast with the purple of the amethyst, elevating the look of this specimen to another

This white layer creates a high contrast with the purple of the amethyst, elevating the look of this specimen to another level.And to be the icing of the cake, calcite covered by micro quartz are seen in it, one on the left side and a smaller one on the back wall of the geode, another characteristic which beautifully contrasts with the dark purple tone of the Amethyst.On a Cathedral shape, it is 20 in. tall and weighs 72 lbs, it is the perfect sized geode. Please notice that the matrix of the geode is composed by a thin layer of basalt which was then covered by the agate matrix, it had the need to be reinforced.This one and only Amethyst specimen comes straight from the source (my hometown) Ametista do Sul, Brazil, and brings the peace of mind of being ethically sourced.
