This is an introductory class into the popular new art medium, Alcohol Inks. You will learn how to use Alcohol Inks to create beautiful landscapes and experiment with different techniques to create a one-of-a-kind creation! We were inspired by the beautiful Colorado landscape and mountain peaks when we designed this class. We break down the essential elements of a successful landscape painting for each of our participants and teach how to use the inks to add them into each piece with success and skillfulness. Alcohol Inks are very interesting to work with and, in certain respects, in a league of their own. They are easier to manipulate than watercolor and they produce vibrantly colored finished pieces that are absolutely striking. All materials and tools are provided and we offer 16 vibrant colors for our participants to play and experiment with. Each participant will leave with a finished matted, art piece that is ready to frame and hang in your home!
