We get a lot of orders to ship artificial sinew outside the states, and postage often costs more than the sinew itself. Artificial or imitation sinew is commonly used in leatherwork, taxidermy and fabric dyeing. Check local leather supply shops and craft supply shops. Don't substitute rounded sinew for flat sinew, it can cause premature wear on your boat's skin.
