Description Custom hard enamel pins are considered the fanciest style of custom pins. These custom enamel pins are overfilled and polished to a smooth, shiny finish. Hard enamel pins are the second most popular style we offer and work well with most pin designs. They are considered to be the highest quality style of enamel pin. Also referred to as cloisonné, these custom lapel pins are sure to delight. A Grade/Standard Grade A grade or standards are scrutinized primarily on their facing surface (the front or design side of the pin) and are graded on a curve. The sides of the pins are scrutinized to a much lower degree, and the back of the pins are not scrutinized except with regard to the posts and the back stamp. Generally, these are pins that have some minor blemishes or flaws that are only noticeable if inspected up close and under bright light.
