‘Awagami Factory’ is a registered brand of washi papers crafted under the direction of the Fujimori family in Tokushima, Japan. Responding to the needs of artists & creators, Awagami focuses on research and development in an ongoing effort to integrate washi into contemporary life. Awagami produces washi papers from natural fibers: Kozo, Bamboo, Mitsumata, Gampi and Hemp.

These natural bamboo brush pens made by our friends in Nara are available in 3 colors: Natural, Black & Red Lacquer.  Each pen has a slightly different pattern and texture but all use flexible handmade tips (artificial hair) to provide optimal elasticity and an engaging user experience. Pens are packaged in a lovely paulownia wood box and we'll include 8 ink cartridges with each pen (extra refills sold here too). Use your bamboo pen with Awagami washi for drawing or calligraphy.A beautiful gift for the artist, designer or Japanophile in your life.
