This colorful necklace has handmade paper beads and wood beads amidst black glass beads. The paper beads are handcrafted from recycled paper by women in rural Nicaragua. This is a double strand necklace. The longer strand is 31 inches long. It has a silver plate toggle clasp. These paper beads are rolled from recycled paper and then coated with 8-10 coats of a non-toxic water based glaze. They are water resistant, very light weight and extremely durable.
