NOTE: Sizes US 0 through US-2.5 have a clear coated metal cable but do not swivel. Needle size is permanently laser marked on the needles. Features: Made of the highest quality Moso bamboo. Precisely crafted tips and joins. Flexible cable. Ergonomically designed to ease hand fatigue. Needle size is laser imprinted on each Bamboo circular. Moso bamboo is the largest and strongest bamboo. It is mostly grown in China (6.7 million acres), but can also be found in Japan (1.2 million acres). ChiaoGoo needles and hooks are made from Chinese Moso bamboo. Because Moso bamboo is quickly renewable, using bamboo needles is environmentally friendly. Bamboo needles are approximately 60% lighter than aluminum needles of the same size, making knitting more comfortable. Bamboo needles are very strong. Fibers under the bamboo's skin are extremely elastic and have tensile strength comparable to steel! Knitters can benefit from the warmth and natural feel of the needles.

ChiaoGoo's 9′′ (23 cm) patina, bamboo circulars have fantastic joins and pliable, clear, nylon cables. They have a nickel-plated, copper join. Sizes 3 (3.25 mm) and larger are crimped to guarantee no separation AND they swivel! Sizes 0 (2 mm) through 2.5 (3 mm) have the same memory-free cable as our RED circulars and TWIST cables! Needle size is permanently laser imprinted on each circular. Bamboo circulars are available in the patina color only.
