With this trimmer, blades are easily changed by removing the blade carrier. Once the blade carrier is removed, the blades are accessible from the top of the blade carrier. To reinsert the blade carrier, insert one of the pointed edges into a relief in a shim and lift the blade carrier to separate the shims.
