Description

Everything I know about model building and wood I learned from building this car under the watchful eye of my dad. We made this car while I was in the Cub Scouts, Pack 154 out of Succasunna, New Jersey back around 1967. The cars were made for the annual Pinewood Derby race where they raced down an inclined slope. When I became the Cub Scout Master my skills were passed down to my sons (and even my daughter) and we all made some nice cars, 14 all together over the years. Brianne would race in the Sibling class and I always had a car in the open class. Now they all sit on a shelf in the living room collecting a considerable amount of dust. I also built the track, you can see it in the first comment. Nikon 55mm f/2.8 NIKKOR Micro, 11 Image Focus Stack Shot at f/8.0. Textures from Skeletalmess and Lenabem-Anna. For the group "Crazy Tuesday", Theme, "Made of Wood". If you like to see dust, view large.
