This study proposes an image segmentation approach to mark the area of nails, which cuts the nail image and merges the painting patterns selected by the user, and sends the segmented-and merged result to the nail painting machine for printing. Nail painting machine is a new kind of consumer device getting prevailing, but a smart technique to automatically find nail printing area becomes necessary. In this study, we propose an image segmentation approach to mark the area of nails, which cuts the nail image and merges the painting patterns selected by the user.
