For years, our Dragon's Blood oil has been unscented, just Dragon's resin in the base oil. But now the Dragon's Blood IS scented - not with the fakey fragrances, but REAL essential oils and resins which come very close to smelling like Dragon's Blood resin being burned as an incense and bearing energies nearly identical to the resin. There is no true essential oil or resinoid of Dragon's Blood, so this is our best offering, a formula Cedar worked on for two years.
(We still have the original unscented, just ask in a note! It will have the same label, but it will be the old unscented version. If you are using it as an ingredient in your own formulations, you probably want the unscented Dragon's Blood oil.)
Dragon's Blood oil begins with Almond and fractionated Coconut base oil infused with real Dragon's Blood resin. I add a blend of essential oils and resinoids which approximate the fragrance and energy of Dragon's Blood resin as it is burned for incense. It will smell a bit like the resin, which has a mild and tart odor. Dragon's Blood, and Dragon's Blood oil are used for power, love, protection, exorcism, money, and many other purposes.
While there are plenty of uses for Dragon's Blood oil, it is often called for in recipes for other magick oils. I could bottle it in larger quantities if you need it as a raw ingredient for your own formulation. I make this oil on the Tuesday or Sunday closest to the Summer Solstice while the Moon is waxing. Dragon's Blood oil is called for in many magick formulations, and it can be used by itself to potentiate mojo bags, and for love, money, personal power, exorcism, cleansing, in other words, for just about anything that needs a high amount of energy.
These magick oils are also called ritual oils, anointing oils or condition oils. They can be used to anoint a person, candle, mojo bag, lucky coins, jewelry, amulets, statues, prayer or spell scrolls, or anything that has a connection with the purpose of the oil or the condition it is made to address. Use them according to your inspiration, imagination, the instructions in a book, your Spirit Guide, teacher or Angel's recommendations, or how your Grandma taught you.
