Spindle is approximately 12 in length overall and the whorl is 3 across, weighing about 3 oz. Smooth sanded, available in unfinished and beautifully finished in clear, walnut and mahogany. Spindle comes with 1 ounce of top quality easy-spinning wool from heritage longwool breeds, such as BFL, Shetland, Cheviot, Polworth, Wensleydale or Gotland top. The white/cream wool is ecru and takes dye very well.
