Anyone who has served in the military knows you are always wearing something on your head. After many years of service in both the Army and Navy, I began feeling out of place without a hat. I’ve always loved hats and have a small collection of various styles.

One day, I just had a thought. Could I make a hat? Thus began the long process of research and experimentation that led to the creation of the first Elder Adventurer. More research and experimentation followed and, before I knew it, I was a hat maker.

I do all of the work myself, by hand, the way it was done before factories began punching hats out to the tune of thousands per day. My hat blocks are based on old designs rarely seen today, which provides you with a unique piece sure to turn the heads of hat lovers.

I made this warm pillbox style hat out of gray and burgundy fleece for warmth and comfort. The stand and top are a double layer of fleece. It's sized to fit most adults 22-23 inches around head. It has a nice stretchy feel and is completely machine washable and dryable. If two other colors are required, message me at time of purchase and I will make a custom hat for you.
