This is a Japanese sewing box, also called Haribako. This box is finished with a natural brown color and blackened wood grain for emphasis. This tansu chest has five wide drawers with simple metal hardware and black metal accents on the corners. This sturdy, rustic piece can be used for storing sewing supplies, jewelry, or other trinkets.
