In 70% Abruzzese wool - 30% Unbleached French  linen, Aestiva is Lanivendole's very first base with a plant fiber content. In 70% Abruzzese wool - 30% Unbleached French  linen, Aestiva is Lanivendole's very first base with a plant fiber content. As with all of Lanivendole's bases, Aestiva is custom spun in a small mill in Piedmont and it's non superwash and nylon free. The small batch dyed colors from Stefania and Giulia's studio are spectacular. Aestiva is a light-fingering/lace weight, with 2ply construction. 50gram hanks are 327yds. The springyness of the merino cross breed wool balances the linen, and make a rather soft yarn with a texture and freshness perfect to create lighter garments.
