The Resquip Canine Mannequin is made from a high-quality, abrasion resistant polymer and is based around a laser precision cut metal skeleton. All exposed metal work is galvanized to increase resistance to corrosion. The mannequin is virtually water-tight and can be used in water / bog rescue scenarios. It is fitted with with lifting and pulling attachment points, enabling easy placement into challenging positions in uneven or unstable terrain to provide rescuers a more realistic training experience. The mannequin is built with particular emphasis on making it as life-like as possible, mimicking joint articulation with legs that are able to be locked in an unsupported standing position or unlocked to bend naturally to be placed in sitting or laying down positions. The body is designed with muscle definition and tone. The tail is designed to detach from the mannequin if someone pulls on it too aggressively. All these features are designed to help the emergency services responders train effectively using a model as close to the real thing as possible.
