Pouring Medium

Basics mediums are mixed with acrylic paint to adjust how the paint works, feels and looks. They can be used to add texture, adjust paint flow, and alter the working properties of the color. Because they include acrylic resin, these mediums maintain or add to the stability of the paint film, and can be used in any amount desired. Contains 5 75ml/2.5-oz tubes.

Liquitex Acrylic Mediums - Rex Art Supplies

Liquitex Liquithick Thickening Gel is excellent for sculptural effects when a matte finish is desired. Gives the handling characteristics of oil or encaustic paint when added to water-based acrylic paints and mediums. Works great with opaque colors as it does not increase transparency or change the position of colors. Do not add more than 25% as there is no binder and it can weaken the stability of the paint film when too much is added.
