How to Make an Art Caddy Storage Bag – Fabric Love

This lined caddy can be used to hold a number of lovely things, I made them for my grandchildren to contain their numerous art supplies, drawing pads etc. It saves their tears when their "favourite crayons" are contained and not left on the floor to be stood on or go up the hoover when they visit
This lined caddy can be used to hold a number of lovely things, I made them for my grandchildren to contain their numerous art supplies, drawing pads etc. It saves their tears when their favourite crayons are contained and not left on the floor to be stood on or go up the hoover when they visit This might look daunting and complicated but don't be put off by the structure of this project. It is made using a fat quarter bundle, has three layers and is a series of rectangles and squares and as such it doesn't need a pattern, you just need to be able to cut accurately. I labelled the pieces to make it easier to refer to as there is an outside and an inside of the caddy, how many pockets and where you put them is up to you. I went pocket crazy  The hardest part for me was trying to working out which fabric I was using for each section it's all so colourful!  Just take one section at a time and don't rush it. Ready?
