It also works great with travertine tiles or limestone. While we have marble polishing tools that use diamond polishing pads this package is made for the do it yourselfer that wants to make their stone shine brighter. It is also perfect for polishing marble floors. This package is a great solution for rejuvenating your marble, travertine or limestone countertops where the gloss has been diminished by wear. While it will not fix chips or cracks, once you have repaired those with our chip repair kit this is the last phase in making your marble countertops look like they did when they were installed. In this package you get: 1 # quart -Dia-Glo polishing compound for marble 1 # 3 hook & loop backed dense felt wheel 1 # 3 rigid backer 1 # 1/4 liter of Tenax Hydrex The power tool you use this with is either a low speed polisher or a variable speed grinder set at a low speed. Just follow the directions for the Dia-Glo marble polishing compound to enrich the shine on your stone. When you are finished clean the marble thoroughly and allow to dry overnight.
