This Nu-Calgon 4291-08 Nu-Brite condenser coil cleaner delivers the cleaning power you need to thoroughly clean and brighten dirty condenser coils! This product boasts a high-foaming formula made with the best possible detergents and chelants. This allows it to cut through even tough grease and grime, and to lift dirt up out of condenser coils to be rinsed away. And since it's alkaline-based it's much safer and cleans better than more dangerous acid-based cleaners, too.
Turn off equipment and access evaporator coil. If the coil is heavily soiled with lint, dirt, etc., use a brush to remove as much as possible prior to cleaning. When using Evap Power-C, prepare a cleaning solution in one of the quality Nu-Calgon sprayers, mixing one part of Evap Power-C with three parts of water. Be sure nearby registers are closed. Although the blower was turned off, natural air currents could pick up and entrain droplets of cleaning solution and this should be controlled.
