POR-15 Alloy Prep Soft Metal Etching (formerly AP-120 Metal Prep) is designed exclusively for use with our 2K Urethane Clear and POR-15 Rust Preventive Clear, Alloy Prep guarantees perfect adhesion of POR-15 2K Urethane to any metal surface, especially chrome or polished aluminum, where good adhesion is often difficult to achieve. This alloy/aluminum prep is non-flammable with no noxious fumes. Wear rubber or latex gloves when using. TIP: When applying to Aluminum or other alloys, first test on an inconspicuous area for staining or discoloration. If staining or discoloration occurs, dilute Alloy Prep 50% with water and retest.

POR-15 Rust Remover will safely remove light to even heavy rust completely from metal surfaces and will not affect plastic, PVC, Viton, or most paints. One gallon derusts several hundred pounds of heavily rusted steel, this equates to around 1/2 to 3/4 Pounds of dry rust removed per gallon. Rust Remover will not harm unrusted steel and is safe on other metals. Rust Remover has no fumes or bad odors and no VOCs. No sanding or scrubbing required.
