Steelheaders seem to prefer boraxed eggs, but borax is also becoming a very important additive when custom curing your eggs with either the Wizard, or Pro-Cure egg cure. Try adding a 1/4 cup to a 1/2 cup of white or colored borax to 12 ounces of egg cure. You will love the results.
