Quilt Fun Shapes Easily with the 3 piece Quilting Shapes Ruler Kit! The Shapes Ruler Quilting Kit comes with the Ditcher, 2-inch Feather, and 2-inch Circle Rulers. Choose from two thicknesses: 1/8-inch for home machines or 1/4-inch for longarm machines. Please enter your machine's make and model so we can be sure you've selected the right ruler! Note: Some home machines like Bernina and Janome are designed to work with the thicker 1/4-inch rulers. If you've purchased rulers in the past, simply measure the thickness to know which works for you. The Ditcher Quilting Ruler is designed to help you stitch in the ditch on your home machine or longarm. You can also use this ruler for travel stitching on straight lines, Echo Ditching, and stitching evenly spaced straight lines. Learn how to use this Ditcher ruler in this quilting tutorial: The 2-inch Feather Ruler Quilting Ruler will help you quilt perfect feathers every time! Stitch a single line of feathers to fill a 2 inch strip of fabric exactly. You can also double the feather to create beautiful border designs! The 2-inch Circle Quilting Ruler can be used to quilt perfect circles on your quilts. You can also use the half shape to quilt scallops or clamshells on your quilts too. Ruler foot quilting is a new way to free motion quilt using rulers or templates to guide the design. Simply position your ruler on your quilt, press it against a ruler quilting foot and gently steer both the quilt and the ruler through your machine. Be sure to add something grippy to the back of the rulers like True Grips so they don't slip as you guide the quilt and the ruler through the machine. Note: Newer Bernina machines with the #72 ruler foot can use either the home or longarm thickness, but Bernina recommends using the thicker 1/4-inch thick rulers (for longarm machines) with this foot.
