This Guard Dog Foam Insert is designed to store and protect Savage Axis and Savage Axis XP rifles. This configuration is designed to house the factory mounted 3-9x40 scope, and will accommodate all calibers of Savage Axis (.22-250 Rem, .223 Rem, .243 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, .270 Win, 30-06 Sprg, .308 Win). With additional pockets and storage space for a magazine and bolt, this case comes ready for anything you need. From a day at the range, to a weekend in camp, this set up is bound to keep everything you need safe, organized, and protected.   Precision CNC routed out of high quality XLPE closed cell foam.  This foam insert is built to last and built to protect your gear for whatever you put it through.  XLPE foam ensures that no water or oils are absorbed by the foam.
