We wanted to add a little bit of luxury to the everyday, to turn a utilitarian basic into something that's a joy and pleasure to look at, touch and use. So we made these colourful, tactile notebooks using the iconic Colorplan paper that's loved by designers and artists the world over. Perfect for colour and paper lovers, this notebook will slip easily into your bag for everyday use as well as looking smart on your desk. Completely handmade, we used a sturdy 270gsm Colorplan card for the cover and Colorplan 135gsm paper for the contrasting flyleaf. This notebook has a Dark Grey cover and flyleaf options of Turquoise, deep Fuschia pink or pale Candy Pink. Inside there are 40 pages of smooth, unlined 100gsm Munken Lynx Smooth Natural White paper that's a joy to write on and perfect for all your creative projects, whether it's writing, sketching, planning or doodling. The notebook is pamphlet sewn using waxed 100% linen thread in either a matching or contrasting colour. The Gray Book features 55 lb. (120 gsm) acid-free light grey sketch paper, slim and ideal for taking on the road. It comes with enough reserves for many subjects. Smooth non-absorbent paper is well suited for working with India ink, fountain pens and acrylic markers as well as other water-based pens with minimum abrasion. Bound in several layers and thread stitched, all pages seat solidly and allow the artist to work on two pages across the center seam.
