This is a nice, sturdy macramé board made of natural cork. Cork is a natural material that is harvested from the cork tree in Portugal. Cork is a very sustainable and environmentally friendly product. It is completely biodegradable. Cork can be recycled and even the cork harvest contributes to the environment: by removing the bark, also known as “stripping”, the cork oak is able to absorb 3-5 times more CO2 than unharvested cork oaks. This macramé board has a thickness of no less than 2 centimetres. This board will remain firmly in place on the table or other surface. With the 10 macramé pins included, you can fixate your macramé creation, while crafting. This macramé board is handy for small to medium-sized macramé projects and can be used for a wide variety of knotting, braiding and weaving techniques.
