The Power Engraver for the Silhouette Curio 2 enables surface engraving on materials such as acrylic, metallic sheets, and silver clay. The Power Engraver smoothly and deeply engraves your design as the router spins. This spinning action allows you to achieve an exceptionally clean finish on your projects compared to tools that merely rely on pressure for engraving. When you use the Power Engraver tool, you will need to change from the Electrostatic Bed to the Debris Tray. This prevents debris from scattering during engraving and helps keep a nice clean workspace.  *The Power Engraver is only compatible with the CURIO2.
