Royal Mail has unveiled a set of stamps to commemorate the forthcoming marriage of HRH Prince Charles and Mrs Camilla Parker Bowles. They will both be on sale to the public on the day of the wedding, 8th April 2005. The stamps capture the couple in an informal and relaxed mood, enjoying their time together at Birkhall, the Prince's Scottish residence in January 2005 and at a public engagement at the Mey in the Scottish Highlands, taken in 2004. Royal Mail's Head of Special Stamps Julietta Edgar, said: "A Royal wedding is always a very special occasion and for decades Royal Mail has marked these important events with commemorative stamps." The stamps, like all other Special Stamps, have been approved by Her Majesty the Queen. Get premium, high resolution news photos at getty
