This lovely Moravian star was created by an artisan in Raleigh, North Carolina.  His stars are made using only salvaged and repurposed woods.  The cherry wood used for this star was purchased at a Habitat ReStore.  It had been lumber cut-offs donated by a local milling plant.  Every star will have the maker's mark imprinted on it and will include a tag explaining the wood's origin.  This star measures approximately 5.5 in diameter.  This is certain to become a treasured item in your home.
