YOU WILL NOT BE SENT A PHYSICAL RANGE HOOD!
These are plans to build a curved tuscan style range hood. You can print out the patterns used to make the curve hood using a standard 8.5 inch x 11 inch desktop printer. The pattern is tiled across several pages. After printing, you join the pages with tape to form the at scale patterns. These patterns are traced onto the plywood and cut with a jig saw. The plans come with detailed instructions outlining the process.
The digital download includes these files:
Detailed instructions on how to print the patterns and build the hood.
Pattern files for the supports, front surface and side surface.
I recommend cutting the support pieces from 3/4 inch thick plywood. The surface pieces should be cut from plywood that is thin enough to bend. I used 1/8 inch bendable (grain all in the same direction) plywood.
The files produce this size of range hood:
Total Height (including apron): 30
Apron Height: 6 (the apron is not included in the patterns. It is just a box. Its height is subtracted to calculate the curve height.
Base Depth: 19.5 (how far out the bottom of the curve extends from the wall, this doesn't include trim)
Base Width: 30 (the width of the curved hood, this doesn't include trim)
Top Depth: 12 (how far out the top of the hood extends from the wall)
Top Width: 15 (the top of the range hood curve's width)
