This pattern prints to two pages. The first page is a full-color cover sheet with a photo of the finished design. The second page contains an easy-to-read pattern, a color legend, and instructions. The pattern is black-and-white with symbols. The legend lists the symbols with the DMC floss numbers and floss color descriptions. The instructions also include a brief description of how to sew the bookmark, which can be done before or after stitching the design. This design has been stitched on 14-count, white Aida cloth. The legend contains the stitch count, as well as the size (in inches) once the design has been stitched. You can stitch this design on a count of your choosing, but you will need to make sure that the size you choose still contains the stitch count. (If you choose a smaller stitch count, you will need a larger piece of fabric.) The stitch count for this pattern is 116 w by 30 h. When stitched on 14-count Aida cloth, it measures 9” w by 3” h. While in the development stage, this design was stitched so that colors could be amended or confirmed.
