Steel hammer is an essential tool to any leather crafter. This multi-task tool can be used to tap down glued leather pieces for stronger bond, create smooth folded edge or tidy up your stitch line after sewing. Both flat and convex face are polished to prevent accidental marks on your leather pieces. DO NOT use this hammer with your chisel or iron.
Tapping hammer is commonly used in flattening stitches, bonded edges, turned edges, and smoothing out seams. Hammer head is forged high-carbon steel with polished ends, and hammered decorative detail in the center. Heat treated to HRC 55-60 for durability.
