(Please be sure to read the entire listing before purchasing!) This PDF pattern is for my "winter leaves" embroidery design, featuring delicately and simply stitched leaves in a light olive green color. What do you get? This three page embroidery pattern (delivered in PDF format) includes the following: An introduction page with tips and tricks + links to tutorials for all of the stitches and techniques you'll need to know. A page with a pattern for transfer (sized for a 3" embroidery hoop when printed on a normal sheet of 8.5x11" computer paper), reference image, and color guide. A detailed stitch guide indicating the stitch and strand count for each portion of the design. What size hoop will you need? When you print this pattern onto a standard 8.5x11" sheet of paper, the pattern for transfer will print out sized for a 3" embroidery hoop. Want it to be bigger or smaller? You should be able to enlarge the image to fit any size hoop using the PDF reader on your computer or tablet - to do that you'll need to use Google (for example, when I typed in "preview mac enlarge image," I was able to find a handy step-by-step guide for doing this). What floss colors and fabric will you need? The pattern itself includes the specific color from DMC that I used to stitch the sample; there is just one color for this pattern (a light olive green). Please feel free to use whatever brand or colors you like! I stitched the original hoop onto one layer of white flannel fabric; again, use whatever fabric you have access to or prefer to use! What if I don't know all the stitches? The first page of your pattern includes links to free tutorials where I take you through each stitch, step by step. What else will I need to know? You'll need to know how to transfer a pattern to your fabric, and how to back your hoop; again, the pattern itself includes direct links to relevant tutorials! Anything else? This pattern is for personal use only, which means that you cannot send the pattern to a friend or sell the finished piece. Of course, it's absolutely okay if you want to give the final product as a gift! That said, I absolutely LOVE to see what people make with my patterns and kits! Please tag me (@hopebroidery) if you post your piece to any social channels so I can tell you how great you did! You'll receive a link to download your digital product in the Thank You page after you checkout, along with an emailed link that will last for 30 days.
