This is a FINE MESH 3d printed filter that fits on the top of a one-gallon US-Floetrol-Flood container. Floetrol-Flood is a great paint-pouring medium but unfortunately, it sometimes has chunks and globs in it. Threads on the outside and the inside of the filter allow you to re-attach the original Floetrol-Flood cap. This part is made from PLA - Polylactic Acid material from HatchBox brand. It is a mixture of plant-based material and polymers. PLA has low heat resistant (only up to about 60C or 140F) so keep it away from heat. The part was modeled using SolidWorks and was optimized to be as efficient as possible. The print runs on an Ender3 3d printer with zero support and zero waste. Shared from a customer: the cap also fits the quart-sized Floetrol bottles! Instructions for use: Rinse Floetrol after use. Do not put this in the dishwasher.
