For: Kids Ages: 6-10ish Where: Zoom Classroom What: Collage Techniques When: June 19th Time: 4 - 4:30pm EST Let's explore all the possibilities COLLAGE has to offer! In this Zoom class, join artist and art teacher, Nicole McAfoose, to learn about all things creativity and collage! This workshop centers the child as an artist, so we'll be exploring various collage techniques to use while creating our own original art. The techniques are sure to spark tons of different ideas and will give kids a deep source of inspiration while strengthening their technical skills and - more importantly - their thinking skills, too. This Collage Workshop includes (optional) pre-workshop activities designed to help kids think creatively and generate their own ideas. It also includes access to an exclusive, post-workshop collage center with replays, ideas, famous collage work, and MORE as well as a gallery to share completed work with peers after the event. All submitted artwork will receive teacher feedback. The event is hosted by Big Ideas Art Studio, an online art education platform offering online, choice-based art classes and a membership-based art club, both of which center artistic thinking over art projects and view each individual child as an artist, full of original ideas and individual artistic strengths.
