High quality gripper strips make punch needle easy and relaxing on your hands and wrists. All gripper frames come with fabric covers as standard to protect your hands.
Punch needle gripper strip frames with cover This is a PRE-ORDER for re-usable gripper strip frames for punch needle and rug hooking. Punch needle gripper frames are available to pre-order in two different sizes, 35 cm and 45 cm. Pre-orders will close on Monday 5 February 2024. Orders will be dispatched in approximately 2 - 3 weeks following this. There is a limited number available. Pre-orders will open again in March 2024. When using a punch needle taut fabric is essential for allowing the needle to move smoothly through the fabric. Stretching your fabric tight is easy with a punch needle gripper strip frame. Simply place the fabric over the frame and pull over the strips to tighten. With your fabric tight, using a punch needle will be easier on your hands and wrists. These are high quality gripper strips are specifically for use with punch needles and rug hooks. Gripper strips are attached to the frames at a slightly curved angle which opens up the teeth and maximises the grip of the fabric. All frames come with a wool mix felt fabric cover as standard to keep your hands protected from the sharp gripper strips. Additional pieces of felt are included for you to cover the corners where the grippers are the sharpest. (Please note colours may vary.) Frames are lightweight, sturdy and easy to use.
